Prior to the evening commencing Helen and Sarah signed all the pre-purchased copies for the guests attending the live event.

The event was hosted at the Lowry, a beautiful multi-theatre venue in the newly developed Quays district in Manchester. The venue had a bar, welcome and directory service and an electric environment just right for the evening. Guests had a chance to mingle with each other over a coffee before entering the Quays Theatre.

Helen and Sarah opened the stage and talks with a warm and energetic hello. It was the right energy to meet a crowd with late at night after a long day of work and got the whole room fired up. Their conversational approach alongside the live drawing and feedback onto the projector screen really set the tone for the evening and got the audience to the right temperature for all of the books on stage exploration.

Drew Povey and Lee Harris were invited as guest speakers because they had contributed to the book. They were asked each about their approach to life and career. Both Drew and Lee gave incredibly gripping stories embedded with rich life lessons and methodologies of dealing with challenges they've personally faced that had the whole room fixated with them.

After excellent on stage engagement between Sarah, Helen, Drew and Lee they opened the stage up to questions from the audience.

After the show Helen, Sarah, Drew and Lee went out to engage with the audience and answer questions personally for anyone who stayed behind,

Project Challenges:
- The venue's pink lighting furnishing and decoration gave a particular hue to everyone's skin that was challenging to compensate for in the White Balance on Camera
- Live Recording and Crowd engagement meant it was best to avoid disruptive flash photography or audible shutter.
- Live Recording and Crowd engagement meant it was best to avoid disruptive flash photography or audible shutter.
- Crowds arrived in drips making the briefed "arrival" shots look empty
- There was area permission issues between myself and crew working for the Lowry for which zones I was allowed to shoot in which was in conflict with brief.
- Event begun and ended later than originally expected,
- The bar at the Lowry Quays theatre never opened as planned and guests had to get drinks from the further bar, this made the shots before the show look a little more emptier than expected.
Solutions:
- Lots of corrective White Balance in post production with Radial and local filter adjustments to compensate for pink Hues

- Really steady shots with the lowest possible shutter speed (no lower than focal length 1/70 -1/200), highest and cleanest ISO speed (on my Canon 5D mkiii was 2500) while avoiding to use flash during the show and performance.
- spent extra time refining White balance in post production
Highlights:
Highlights:
- Positive crowd engagement along with charismatic speakers make for great content
- The stage lighting was helpful although to get an even balance between the crowd and the speakers was challenging as lights couldn't be matched, it created a beautiful and unique highlight on the speakers that worked really well for my shots,

- After the theatre shots the attendees were pretty pumped up and excited to be a part of photo opportunities
- The clients were happy with the final selections and booked again, they also remarked on how wonderful the final colours were
- I like the natural story progression the shots tell.
