This Series is titled “Military Womxn”.
‘’The statistics for violence against women are similar to those of a country at war.’’
This is where womxn currently are, military soldiers in a physical and or mental battle.
These stages may be familiar or unfamiliar to some that deal with the choice of battles.
This is a commentary on the opposition being those that commit GBV crimes and for these womxn soldiers they are fighting for a better world.
Fighting and violence within some aspects of life have become ‘’normalized’ and emotions such as fear have taken away freedoms of everyday life.
This is an idea that is explored by creating representations of soldiers in the models’ wardrobes, this about womxn being soldiers in their own daily wars, battles and armistice’s.
The heroines in this series have in the end of this metaphorical war overcome the enemy, and recaptured their freedom, strength and identities.
